Supported Housing for Independent Living

At Associació Alba, we defend the right of people with disabilities to live in housing that is suitable and adapted to their needs, a space where they can develop with the maximum possible autonomy, make decisions about their daily lives, and feel part of the community.

With your support, we can transform the current Llar Alba into a shared apartment for people with disabilities. This new space will allow them to live independently, with the support of an educator for tasks where they need it.

This project represents a step forward for inclusion and equal opportunities in the community, offering an environment where they can develop their life project with autonomy, well-being, and full participation.

This new project seeks to replicate the model of the Mestre Martí apartment, created in 2022, where six people currently live and witness the positive impact of living in shared supported housing. These individuals have experienced a major change in their lives and report an 80% improvement in their quality of life. This experience has given them greater autonomy and allowed them to make everyday decisions, such as planning dinners, being independent in some household tasks, managing their own vacations, or resolving minor day-to-day conflicts.

Your donation will help us adapt the spaces at Llar Alba and make improvements that will allow us to offer single rooms and comfortable shared spaces adapted to each person's needs. We need your support to create a shared apartment where five people with disabilities can access independent living, with the occasional support of a personal assistant to ensure their safety and autonomy, thus contributing to equal opportunities and their well-being.

What are the tax benefits of my donation?
Your support is tax deductible: you can deduct up to 80% of the amount up to a maximum of €250, and 40% of the remaining total (45% if it is your third year of collaboration with the organisation). If you are a company, you can deduct up to 40% in corporation tax, with a limit of 15% of the tax base or 50% if it is your third year of collaboration with the organisation.
