Our day centers are aimed at people with intellectual disabilities and are part of the occupational service of the Government of Catalonia. However, at the Alba Association, we wanted to take a broader and more open approach: our goal is to promote the inclusion of individuals in the community by facilitating their active participation in the social fabric of the towns and cities where they are located. To achieve this, we enhance outdoor activities in collaboration with local entities, schools, and other groups. Additionally, we offer tailored workshops and activities that foster skill development, improve autonomy, and enhance the well-being of the participants.

We also promote the mobility of individuals between the different centers so they can choose their personal itineraries based on their interests.

The professional team consists of social educators, psychologists, physiotherapists, and community facilitators.

What characterizes this center?

Va! de Fusta, a social and creative carpentry workshop.

Cal Carreter in Agramunt is a resource center that works for inclusion through community and employment-related activities. The social and creative carpentry project Va!defusta is the center’s flagship initiative, where decorative and gift items, signage, and personalized merchandising for companies are created.
