CEEPSIR, Service and Resource Provider Centre for Disability and Autism Spectrum Disorder for Schools, Entities, and Families
The CEEPSIR of the CEE Santa Maria de l'Alba offers specialized support to ordinary educational centers to improve attention to students with special educational needs (SEN), especially those with disabilities and ASD.
This service is part of the inclusion support network and works to transform educational practices and promote inclusion in the ordinary classroom. In September 2022, the CEE Santa Maria de l'Alba was chosen as one of the only two CEEPSIR in the province of Lleida. Currently, there are four centers that offer this service in the region.

What does the service offer?
The CEEPSIR works in coordination with the EAP, the Educational Inspectorate and other agents to:
- Offer advice and support to ordinary schools to improve their response to students with SEN.
- Develop intervention strategies in the classroom, with joint work with teachers and management teams.
- Train educational teams in inclusive strategies and methodologies for attention to diversity.
- Adapt teaching materials and resources to facilitate the learning of students with SEN.
- Make observations in the classroom and return with specific guidelines for the educational intervention.
- Work on inclusion by modeling inclusive practices in the ordinary classroom.
Who is it aimed at?
CEEPSIR serves schools in the Urgell, Segarra and Pla d'Urgell areas, supporting the schooling of students with special educational needs in ordinary schools.
To access it, you need:
- A report from the EAP that recognizes the need for CEEPSIR support.
- That the student is not attended by a special education center.
- Priority for students who are younger or in transition from primary to secondary school.
